Spallshield® composite laminated glass

For buildings subject to the most demanding building codes, such as hospitals, storm shelters, and schools, Spallshield® composite offers maximum strength. It is also an excellent choice for fixed window, window wall, and load-bearing glass applications.

As its name implies, Spallshield® composite prevents spalling (the shower of glass that occurs when conventional glass is penetrated from the opposite side) and can also be specified in thicknesses that achieve various levels of penetration resistance, including resistance to high-powered gunfire and explosions.

Spallshield® composite lamination increases the penetration resistance of a given thickness of glass; conversely, it gives you the option of decreasing glass thickness without loss of original resistivity.
